What is the difference between the Multispan TC and CC series?
The TC series (e.g. TC-510) are general-purpose PID / ON-OFF temperature controllers for heating and process control with thermocouple / PT-100 inputs. The CC series (e.g. CC-510) are NTC cooling / refrigeration controllers with compressor and defrost logic. Use TC for heating and CC for cooling.
Can a TC-510 control a cold room?
The TC-510 can switch a cooling relay, but the CC-510 is purpose-built for refrigeration — with an NTC sensor range, compressor delay and defrost logic the TC-510 lacks. For cold rooms and chillers, use the CC series.
